The Evil Grasshopper

I love Cal's description of the cricket.
"There is an evil grasshopper in our house"

Will Tomorrow Ever Come?

Cal will ask me a couple times a day, questions like this:
"Mom can I have a sucker?"
"Mom can we go to the park?"
"Mom can I have a friend over?"

Although, we do go to the park a couple times a week and he has been lucky to play with a lot of friends lately, I find myself saying to him

"Maybe tomorrow."

I don't want to be mean and just say no, although I don't really plan on fulfilling his question "tomorrow".  The answer makes him happy and we move on.
Well today he asked me
"Mom, is today tomorrow?"

3 Little Baby Girls

Bella*********Milly*********Peyton
All 3 of the baby girls are here!  (well they have been here since July, but I am a little slow on posting)  This 1st picture was taken in the hospital the day after Milly was born!

The baby girls and their moms (2 of my sisters, Casandra and Tanya)
Grandpa and his newest Grand-babies! #15, #16, and #17
My oldest sister Aunt Kikki with her new little nieces!
The girls all sharing Milly's pack-n-play!
These girls are going to Best Friends!!!

Grand Canyon

We headed over to the Grand Canyon with Nanna and Poppy Collin for a day and hiked around.  We thought this is a good place to take visitors not from the U.S.  We took Adrian's dad here last time he visited.

Bella and me at the top!
Cade can be pretty crazy, and made me nervous being so high, so Poppy Collin carried him a lot of  the way.  Cade loved it, he became pretty attached to Collin, and loved to fly on his shoulders!
After the hike Nanna treated us to ice cream cones!  We had a great time!

Snack Time

Cal wanted to have a snack and wanted to do it by himself.  He picked out cucumbers!  (love that my kids like veggies!)  He peeled them, and them cut them with a table knife!  He was so proud of himself!  What a big boy he is!

Bowling-Cal's Birthday

Cal really wanted to go bowling for his birthday. Cal and Cade did awesome!  The two of them were on the same team, and between the two of them they got either a strike or a spare on almost every turn!  They loved bowling with Poppy Collin and having Nanna watching them!

The boys loved to show us how strong they are when they would carry their bowling ball all by themselves!
Daddy and the birthday boy, watching Cal's ball!

Cal turned 4 (awhile ago)

While Nana and Poppy Collin were here from Australia, we decided to have Cal's B-day!

He wanted a Star Wars party, Nana and Poppy spoiled him with all his gifts, like his Star Wars shirt that he is wearing and cake, and lots of other fun little toys.
We gave him some "very special " Star Wars books.  These were Adrian's books when he was younger.  I love that we were able to get a lot of Adrian's childhood books.
We had some yummy "Yoda Soda"

Cal loves his Baby Bella and Caders.  He loves to sing songs to Bella when she cries and tries to hold her all by himself.  He misses Cade when it is his nap time, and often times will sneak upstairs to wake him early so they can play.  His favorite food is carrots, his favorite color is green.  He likes riding his scooter over his bike.  He has a great memory, he memorized his talk and scripture when it was his turn in primary.  He loves to play with his friends and cousins, especially those that are older.  He loves swimming and playing outside with bugs and lizards.
We love you Cal!

Cherry Picking

I love having little traditions, it gives you something fun to look forward to.
Cherry picking is definitely one that we love and I look forward to.
(this was only are 2nd year doing it)

There's not a better way to start the summer. Climbing in trees, picking cherries, EATING the BEST cherries, and being with those that we love!

These are the memories and traditions that I want my children to remember, they are the kind that I remember as a kid.

GOOD OLD FASHION FUN!

Bella even enjoyed herself laying under a cherry tree!
(We missed you Grandpa and Dell's)

Delivery Story

If you are interested, I finished posting about my delivery story today. Scroll down and it is right after my labor story.

Random

I have been really crappy about blogging lately (well actually for about a year now) but I am going to try to be more on top of things, especially since Adrian's family is on the other side of the world and my family is getting further away. It's fun to keep in touch this way! Plus whenever I get into a blogging routine it makes me take more pictures.

Cute little Bella

The boys and I are enjoying doing crafts, these are melted crayons that we made

Cal turned 4, I still can't believe it. He had some friends and their siblings over to play in the sprinklers, blow bubbles and have popsicles. We will have his real Birthday party when his Nana gets here next week from Australia!
My little Cade is still getting bloody noses like crazy!

Swimming Lessons

Cal absolutely loves going to swimming lessons!
Especially with his buddies Davis and Zac

Zac and Cal

Pink Coral Sand Dunes

(I believe that is the name of the Dunes.) We had a great Memorial Weekend with lots of fun. We headed to the lake with some friends, BBQ'd with some friends and headed to the dunes as a family to play and have a picnic!

We tried out a sand board (that didn't work to well) still the kids had fun!

We made sand angels

We got sand everywhere!

We rolled down the dunes

Played in the sand

It was fun to get out and play with the kids and Adrian with no distractions.

Bella's first day of church

Goodbye Dells

My little sister and her cute family moved a few weeks ago to New York. We will miss you guys, they lived in Vegas and was our closest family, we were lucky to see them a ton while they lived there. I cried like a baby after the drove away, hopefully we will make it out there to visit! Love you guys!

Scriptures!!

Cal was playing in the garage and came running in with his big contagious smile and said
"mom you bought me my own scriptures!" he was SO happy! I happily smiled back at him and said "you bet I did!" I didn't want to explain to him that his new Book of Mormon was actually an old Book of Mormon that had been collecting dust in the garage for years.
He then decided that he needed to go show his little best friend Kate who lives across the street from us. He ran and got his scooter to ride over there and figured out he couldn't ride and hold his scriptures at the same time, so he put his scriptures in his backpack, and had to go in style with his shades!
He rode over to her house, took off his back pack, unzipped it, showed Kate his new scriptures, put it back in his backpack and rode back home!
He also proudly took his scriptures to church today and loves to read it!
